The Most Loved, Hated and Wanted Programming Languages
Rust is the most loved, and VBA is the most disliked programming language

As developers, we learn and work on several program languages in our lifetime. But it’s not like we need to learn multiple languages. A programmer doesn't get a job for knowing ten programming languages.
A programmer only needs to learn one language to land a job and being an expert in a language makes it easier to get hired. But it’s better to know what’s happening around the world.
The fact is programming moves at an incredible rate. So, whether we want it or not, we will learn more than one language and framework in the journey. And I believe programmers play the main role in which language will be widely accepted and which won’t.
Let’s talk about what programming languages and frameworks are being most loved, hated, and wanted by programmers.
Rust Is the Most Loved Language
According to Stack Overflow’s developer survey, Rust has been the most loved programming language for the last year. Not only that, Rust has been the most loved programming language for the last five years in a row.
In the last year, 86.1% of developers who program in Rust said they loved it.

Here are some other loved programming languages. Python’s popularity has also increased a significant amount in the last few years. 66.7% of developers said they loved Python.
TypeScript was the second-highest loved language of the last year with 67.1% popularity.
GO’s popularity also has gone down from 72.5% to 62.3% in the last six years. Koltin’s popularity also has been down. Still, Kotlin is the fourth most-loved language.
Though Rust is the most loved language, the number of Python or Typescript users is much more than Rust’s users.
