More than ever, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) have reached the forefront of pivotal conversations, headlines, and social feeds.

Female leaders, especially across the tech industry, are conducting open dialogues about holding themselves and the companies they work for accountable in diversity. Tech leaders use their platforms to ultimately create workplaces where every employee can personally and professionally thrive and understand their worth.

Vantage Point has compiled a list of six leaders and advocates who are leading change in the tech industry while sharing their vision on social media.

Erica Joy Baker

Erica Baker is one of the leading founders of the famous Project Include, which aims to make the modern workplace inclusive by accepting women and other minorities. Erica has played a pivotal role in creating a more gender-neutral tech environment.

Kimberly Bryant

Kimberly Bryant is the founder and executive director of Black Girls Code, an organization that aims to increase the number of women of color in the digital space. The program empowers girls of color ages seven to 17 to become innovators in STEM fields and leaders in their communities.

Amber Conville

Amber Conville is a software developer and conference organizer through her website crebma. She is the director of engineering at Integral.io and the founder of Self.org/Self Conference.

Mina Markham

Mina Markham is actively involved in the tech community, teaching for Black Girls Code and founding the Dallas chapter of Girl Develop It and DFW Sass. She’s also the co-organizer of Front Porch, a conference on web technologies for developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and managers.

Jane McGonigal

Jane McGonigal is a game designer and educator. She is known for her work in the alternate reality game genre. Alongside her work in the gaming sector, she is an accomplished author. Her latest book is Reality Is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World.

Amelia Greenhall

Amelia Greenhall is the founder of Magic Vibes Corporation, building software for wearables using iOS. She also co-founded the publication Model View Culture.
