Who doesn’t know what Stack Overflow is? It’s the source answer to millions of programming questions (21 million questions in 2021 per Wikipedia). If you are a programmer, most likely you have referred to it before.

But other than just questions and answers, do you know Stack Overflow has other usages? Here are seven of them:

1. Developer Survey

Every year, Stack Overflow surveys thousands of developers to gain some insight into our developer demographics.

In 2022, over 70k developers have been surveyed. Below are a few interesting insights.

2. Trend of Stack Overflow Activity

The above surveys are just insights for a particular year. However, sometimes we like to know the changing trend over the years

In Stack Overflow, we can check the trend on various tags on Stack Overflow questions.

For instance, I like to know how popular the mobile development platform, e.g., Xamarin, React Native, and Flutter, over the year

I just need to add the tags, and the data graph will be shown below.
