Development can be a real drag sometimes. Staring at the same soul-crushing screen full of characters for hours on end. Trying to fix the same annoying bug that just won’t go away. It can really fry your brain. Sometimes all you need is to take a break and have a good laugh.

GitHub has the laughs. Yes, the gigantic code repository company owned by Microsoft can also provide some fun every once and a while.

In this article, we’ll blow off some steam. Take a step back from the code that ails you and let’s look at some entertaining stuff on GitHub.

1. Hacker Scripts

This is pretty awesome. Apparently, after an engineer left their company, one employee was tasked with going through some of his old data and found this repository of scripts. They do some pretty entertaining and clever things. One of the scripts even connects to a coffee maker to brew coffee on a regular schedule.
